Within the District of Limavady there are 11 Orange Halls.  These Halls are owned by each of the Private Lodges within the District.

The Orange Halls across the District have for many years played an important role in the communities which they are set.  It is not just Orange Lodges who meet in these halls; Credit Unions, creches, mother and toddlers groups, through to sporting activities and cultural groups are just a few of the varying activities that take place on any day or evening in the month.

The oldest Hall in the District is Limavady Orange Hall, which was built in 1890.  Four halls were built soon after between 1900 – 1930, one hall was built in 1955, two in the 1960s and one in 1976.  The newest hall is Ballykelly, a purpose built hall erected in the village in 2003.
